Statement of Faith
We Believe...
1. In the verbal inspiration of the Bible. The
Bible to be the inspired, infallible, divinely
preserved Word of God, the supreme and
final authority for all faith and life. II
Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21
2. That There Is One God. In the beginning
was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God.
2 The bible also states that there is no
other God besides Him. Isaiah 45:5-
6 According to Isaiah 9:6, a son was born
and the government would be on His
shoulder ...and His name shall be
called Jesus: for He shall save is people
from their sins; Matt. 1:18-25, so
controversy great is the mystery of
Godliness; God was manifested in the
flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of
angels, preached unto the Gentiles, and believed
on in the world and received up into glory.
1Timothy 3:16
3. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from
the dead; that He ascended to heaven.
4. That all have sinned and come short of the glory
of God, and that repentance is commanded of
God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
5. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth
are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
6. In sanctification subsequent to the new birth,
through faith in the blood of Christ; through the
Word; and by the Holy Ghost.
7. Holiness to be God's standard of living for His
people. Hebrews 12:14
8. In the baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a
clean heart; that speaking with other tongues as
the Spirit gives utterance, and that it is the initial
evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
9. In water baptism by immersion, and all who
repent should be baptized in the name of Jesus
Christ. Acts 2:38
10. We believe in the five-fold ministry of Apostles,
Prophets, Evangelist, Teachers and Pastors. We
believe each of these offices compliment each
other and should be utilized for the maturing of
believers and the perfecting of Saints that they
might do the work of the ministry. We believe in
the gifts of the spirit, they are readily available to
any believer and should be used to edify the
church. We believe these gifts should be used in
order and decency so as not to confuse the
unbelievers. Ephesians 4:11
11. Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
12. The Lord's Supper and washing of the Saints' feet. I
Corinthians 11:24-30, John 13:13-15
13. In the pre-millennial second coming of
Jesus. First to resurrect the righteous dead and to
catch away the living Saints to Him in
the air. Second, to reign on the earth a
thousand years.
the righteous and eternal punishment for
the wicked.
15. In dressing in modest apparel according to
I Timothy 2:9-10 and I Corinthians 11:14-
15; and also Deuteronomy 22:5.
